For eBay sales, eBay says so; for anything else, no. eBay's help page tells international business sellers shipping to Spain to add “Spanish Producer of Products Registration Number: ENV/2023/000034242”, which is eBay's own number, to their invoices. It says eBay has registered as a producer with Ecoembes, declares the goods of international sellers through it and pays the contributions. Sellers with their own number keep using it. Two cautions. The arrangement covers eBay sales only, not your own shop or other marketplaces. And MITECO's note of 13 August 2026 says that under the PPWR online platforms are not producers and must check each seller's own registration and self-certification. Re-read eBay's page before relying on its number.
