Registro de Productores de Producto — the producer register at MITECO. Registration here is a legal obligation and produces your ENV number. It is not a scheme and it is not optional. MMITECO

Número de Identificación Fiscal — a Spanish tax identification number. A foreign company needs one beginning with N before it can be registered in the RPP: MITECO registers producers by NIF, and the digital certificate used to file is issued against it. Obtained from the AEAT through a representative holding a Spanish NIF or NIE. MMITECO

The tariff Ecoembes charges per kilo of packaging, by material. The Spanish equivalent of a licence fee, and not a tax. EEcoembes

An excise tax of €0.45/kg on the non-recycled fraction of non-reusable plastic packaging, under Ley 7/2022 and administered by the Agencia Tributaria. Separate from, and additional to, the Punto Verde tariff. AAgencia Tributaria+1
