What the schemes charge per kilo
Ecoembes published its 2027 Punto Verde schedule on 2 July 2026, unusually early. These are the published figures, read on the date shown. Ecoembes covers household packaging only — glass sits with Ecovidrio and commercial packaging with Envalora and the other industrial schemes.

Note the spread. Plastic film at €1.269/kg is nearly eleven times paper and cardboard at €0.117/kg. For an e-commerce seller shipping in poly mailers, switching to paper-based packaging is the single largest lever on the bill — far larger than the choice of representative.
The approved schemes
A SCRAP organises and finances collection and recycling. Which one you need depends on what your packaging is and who receives it — a company selling to both consumers and businesses needs two.
- Ecoembes — household light packaging (plastic, metal, cartons, paper)
- Ecovidrio — household glass
Commercial and industrial schemes
Packaging that reaches businesses only does not go to Ecoembes. It goes to Envalora or another authorised industrial scheme, at markedly lower rates — rigid plastics at €0.173/kg against €0.773/kg on the household schedule.

What the RPP covers, and what it does not yet
Ley 7/2022 foresees producer responsibility for several flows that have no implementing regulation yet. Until those are approved, there is nothing to register for — and a provider telling you otherwise is selling you air.
