I sell on Zalando. What does it need from me for Spain?

Zalando asks partners not headquartered in Spain for their legal name, NIF and ENV number, entered in zDirect, and says they need a Spanish authorised representative.

Quick answer

Your ENV number, plus the legal name and NIF exactly as they appear in the Spanish register, entered in your Business Profile in zDirect. Zalando's partner page (updated 8 July 2024) says partners not headquartered in Spain must appoint an authorised representative for their EPR duties, join a SCRAP, be registered in the Registro de Productores de Producto and report their packaging. It warns that not providing the number could suspend you from selling in Spain. One useful detail: if you use Zalando Fulfilment Solutions, Zalando considers itself the producer of the shipping packaging, and you remain the producer of the product packaging.
