When do I have to report my packaging in Spain?

Twice a year, for the previous calendar year: to your SCRAP (Zalando's guidance gives 28 February) and to the RPP, between 1 January and 31 March.

Quick answer

Twice a year, each time for the previous calendar year. Your SCRAP collects a packaging declaration on which your fees are calculated; Zalando's guidance gives 28 February as the date. The annual information to the RPP under Article 16 RD 1055/2022 is filed in the first quarter: MITECO's FAQ sets the window from 1 January to 31 March, and says a year's report can only be filed in its own window, not earlier or later. Producers placing under 15 tonnes of packaging a year file the simplified version, procedure 2945277; above that, the standard declaration, procedure 2962548. Exports and sales to other EU countries do not count toward the 15 tonnes.
